Knutsford Express
Island wide bus service

The island wide bus service uses modern busses to transport passengers and packages across the island with stops in each parish.  They have a schedule which can be found on their website.  Some visitors take the Knutsford Express from the airport to the bus station in Port Antonio, then arrange Owen's Transportation & Tours listed above to take them to their accommodation.

If you need to rent a vehicle when you get to Port Antonio, This is your only option.   This business has been in operation for since the 90's.   The location is in the town center and usually busy with little parking.   Kevin the owner or one of his employees will take care of you.

Akan auto is a trusted registered auto mechanic equipped to do most jobs including engine rebuilds.   Sometimes parts need to be ordered depending on the complexity of the job at hand, however, they manage to source parts for you within a day or two.

Tire Repair Shop

Driving around rural Jamaica you may end up picking up a nail or run over a crab that punctures your tire.  Unlike many first world countries who just throws the punctured tire away and puts a new one on, we are quite used to reparing tires and rims to effectively to get reliable, safe, and long life out of them.   Check these guys out directly beside the Tire Shop Restaurant if you need a repair done.
